As always, when you touch the Showtimes icon you're taken to a list of theaters nearest your current location. Each entry in the list has the theater name, address, and a map icon that you touch to see directions in the map app.
Under each movie entry is a list of movies and show times for that theater. I've used it in L.A. and various parts of Atlanta and it works great.
Now they've made it even better. The new version adds the following:
- movie poster by each movie entry
- touching a movie entry takes you to a movie detail page
- detail page has links occasionally to imdb.com, rottentomatoes, and others
- detail page often has play button that takes you right to the trailer
